About Us
What is the Georgia Kickstart Fund?
We help support UGA students' entrepreneurial ventures
The Georgia Kickstart Fund is a student-managed venture capital fund that invests $100,000 in UGA student-run businesses through privately funded seed grants of $500-$10,000. The Fund is composed of 11 Partners and 11-15 Associates who review companies seeking funding.
Our Funding
Kickstart, a student-led venture fund, was established through a private grant from a UGA Alum to the UGA Entrepreneurship Program. Through additional funding from the Suntrust Foundation and many others, Kickstart is now providing up to $100,000 in grant funding annually to student businesses from all across the UGA campus.
